This holiday season, we're excited to announce our annual toy drive to support our Annual Children's Christmas party in December!

This is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses to get involved and make a positive impact in our community. Your generous donations each year make this event possible, helping to create a joyful and memorable experience for all families attending.

This Remembrance Day, we take a moment to honor and remember the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. Their bravery and dedication have paved the way for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Please note that The Tree will be closed on Monday, November 11 in observance of this important holiday. We encourage everyone to reflect on the significance of this day and express gratitude for the heroes who have fought for peace and justice. We will resume our regular hours, including food share, on Tuesday.

SMART Recovery is a science-based program that empowers individuals seeking recovery through self-management and personal growth. At The Tree, we prioritize creating a welcoming community where everyone can share their experiences and develop practical skills for resilience and recovery.

Together, we provide a safe space for support, encouraging each other on the path to lasting change. Come see how SMART Recovery can be a valuable part of your journey.

As the temperatures drop and winter approaches, we're accepting gently used winter clothing donations for The Tree. Your donations will help keep our community warm during the cold months ahead.

Our donation room is accessible to everyone in our community, and just like many of our services, all support is provided free of charge.

Stories like the one from Angie** are exactly why we are so committed to providing this program to woman in our community.

Every week, women walk through our doors looking for a place to belong, share their stories, and rebuild their strength. 💛

The friendships formed here are powerful. These connections provide the foundation for women to heal, grow, and find support. But we can’t do it alone—we need your support to keep this program running and to reach more women who need a place to heal and connect.

Your donation makes a difference!

🌼$20 provides workshop supplies, including art materials and resources for one drop-in session.
🌼$50 sponsors a woman’s participation in the program for a full week, offering her the opportunity to connect, share, and grow.
🌼$100 supports our lunch program for a week, ensuring participants have nourishing meals as they engage in their recovery journey.

Every dollar counts and goes directly toward creating a nurturing environment where women can flourish.

September 30th marks National Truth and Reconcilia

September 30th marks National Truth and Reconciliation Day, a time to reflect on the painful legacy of the residential school system and colonialism in Canada. At The Tree, we honour survivors and pledge a commitment to fostering healing, understanding, and change.

We will be closed on September 30 and will resume regular business hours on October 1.

This was a day to remember those who have lost their lives due to the overdose crisis, share our stories of strength and resilience, and honour our loved ones left behind.
